I own the '09, '10 and '11 editions and I can't wait for next year's. Each one has a wide variety of recipes that you never thought could be scaled down for two. I'm thrilled to be able to make the small amounts of hummus and caramel dip from this cookbook. Past editions have lemon curd, mango chutney, and ranch dressing among other things. The new vegetarian section is lovely and I would welcome more of those dishes (hint: a cheese enchilada recipe!). However, I felt cheated on the dessert section; they've included savory baked goods which is fine but I was hoping for more cakes and perhaps a cinnamon buns recipe. Oh and if they include more pear desserts in the future I'm going to scream! I also don't think they should include a "dinner off the grill" section on every edition.
Anyways, here are the recipes I've made so far from this book: black bean burgers, chocolate pots de crème (great), tiramisú, eggplant casserole, white spinach lasagna (note: I had to read the instructions more than twice on this one and then they expect you to bake the lasagnas in mini loaf pans. I didn't feel like cutting up all the noodles to fit the pans so I baked it on a regular loaf pan instead and it came out just fine. It feeds more than 2 unless you're really hungry), zucchini/tomato/ricotta tarts (great), orecchiette with broccoli rabe and beans, pan-roasted chickpeas with garlic/parsley paired with tomato/scallion/lemon couscous. You'll be in for a treat every time you try a recipe from this cookbook!
