About the Author
Elaine Willingham has owned and operated Beyond the Rainbow, a mail-order business devoted to Oz, for more than ten years. From her offices in St. Louis, she maintains a popular Wizard of Oz Web site, the best of its kind. Steve Cox is the author of eleven books on film and television, including the hugely successful "Munchkins of Oz," "The Abbott & Costello Story," "The Beverly Hillbillies," and "The Addams Chronicles." A frequent contributor to the "Los Angeles Times," he lives in California.

The entire book is great fun. The recipes are genuinely tasty and even have hilarious names! Plus, the book is chock full of photographs and trivia. Even if you don't cook, any fan of Oz will find plenty to love. And if you're a kitchen wizard who isn't into Oz so much, you'll pick up lots of delicious new ideas. Makes a great gift. A treasure written by two wonderful people!

If anyone doubted the power of OZ and how ingrained it is in our collective psyche (and now our tastebuds!), then just pick up this marvelous book! Told with fantastic wit and charm, this book is a must-have for anyone interested in Oz trivia or new, creative recipes. The anecdotes and musings are sprinkled generously throughout, with ample portions of photos and I loved those vintage ads! This is the perfect addition to this summer's cookout season. I've had more fun telling people where I got the recipe for Bitey Beans! Everyone wants to borrow my copy and try them out for themselves. It's quite a conversation starter at picnics. Although I have to admit I ate almost half a Winkie Chocolate Peanut Butter pie in one sitting last weekend and was left moaning, "Oh what a world, what a world.." So pace yourself and your waistline!

Excellent Work. Lots of pictures and some of the recipes are very good. Lots of Great tidbits on Oz. I Enjoyed this book! If you like the Wizard of Oz or Cooking grab this one.
