Many recipes are not gluten free - they show you how to adapt it to be gluten free Jan. 8 2008

I got this book as a gift. I was disappointed to see that many of the recipes are not gluten free, but instead there is a blurb on the bottom of the page that tells you how to make it gluten free. I expected all of the recipes to be dairy free, wheat free, and gluten free but they weren't.

the perfect pizza Oct. 13 2008
By Robin E. Lutsky - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover Verified Purchase
I have tried so many gluten-wheat-dairy free pizza doughs and they were tough or totally fell apart. Most of the store bought ones I tried tasted
like cardboard. This was perfect I used soy mozzorella cheese and goat
gouda and sheepsmilk pecorino romano. It made a great white pizza.pg66
I've also made the cornbread pg24 very good.I made the rich piecrust
dough pg 21.Very easy to work with did it in the food processor made
a peach pie, and a dark chocolate and raspberry pie, Both turned out great,
very good book although I'd have to say the this Book is definately for
someone who likes to cook and is not looking for a quick fix,but in my estimation well worth the money and the time.

Not what I expected May 3 2009

I wanted an cookbook that didn't use wheat flour, dairy products or eggs. There are a lot of eggs used. The recipes are more complicated that I want. I will be returning it....

Not useful Oct. 26 2013
By P. Barnes - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
The title of the book was misleading to me, as I was expecting recipes
that are ALL of the stated "free's" . . gluten, wheat, dairy
This book would be useful ONLY to those looking for singular "free-
from's", but not if you need them for "free from all of above items."

I love this cookbook!!! Jan. 19 2012
By Elizabeth M. Blatt - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
Up to now, my experience with books designed for people with food allergies has been that so many of the recipes look like a compromise and at the same time seem to require so much effort to produce. What I love so much about this book is that, for a minimum amount of work and time, I have been turning out dish after dish that looks great and tastes fabulous. Seriously, the Asparagus Frittata took less than five minutes to prepare; Ginger Chili Tuna eight minutes' work (OK, not including marinating time) and it looked and tasted like a restaurant meal. At the end of my day, when all I want to do is collapse with a huge glass of wine, I am so delighted that I can also put together a stunning supper for my family with the minimum of input. Not only that, the recipes are so good I am confident in using them for entertaining, too. I'm gradually working my way through the book and have already added the author's next book, "Simply Gluten Free and Dairy Free" to my wish list.
