4.0 out of 5 stars ALRIGHT! Jan 12 2004
By A Customer
Format:DVD
I watched this last night and really liked it. I enjoyed the whole premise of the movie which is to save our Earth a craft must drill its way to the core and plant bombs to correct the Earths motion. Lots of neat ideas come up as they fiqure out how to do it. Of course its really beyond our science right now but I liked how they handled it. The movie keeps you interested as they encounter problems along the way. The actors portray themselves as really beliving that they are in the Earths core which helps the movie alot ,plus the special effects are very neat. Somthing besides space and car explosions. you have to suspend your serious side and just sit back and enjoy this movie and I belive you will.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Disaster/Science Fiction Flick! Jan 9 2004
By Dan Cox
Format:VHS Tape
Just a really good movie all around. If you liked Deep Impact and movies like it then you'll like this. There are a couple technical things to nitpick but overall it's believable.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty Good Dec 16 2003
Format:DVD
As seeing so many disastrous disaster films, with only a few exceptions, I had put off seeing this for a long time. But, this film is pretty good. Yes, some of it is predictable, but there are also some novel ideas presented. Much of it is believable. The action is not edge-of-your-seat, but it is nail-biting at times.

1.0 out of 5 stars Wish I could give this zero stars
This movie is awful on every level. Diologue, acting, special effects, direction, what else is there? It isn't even suspensful. Read more

1.0 out of 5 stars Talented Actors in Lackluster Film

3.0 out of 5 stars Solid disaster/suspense film, flimsy science
This film begins with an interesting premise, although seeing a bunch of birds crashing through windows seems to be a poor way to start a film built around geophysics phenomena. Read more
