Fun drive-in classics...not good transfers June 9 2010

Didn't expect much from these ultra-low budget drive-in 'classics' but the original Concord versions are far better transfers (and that's not saying much)on DVD. I have original DVDs of the three 'Nurse' movies but was hoping to get better transfers (big disappointment). Are these sourced from an extended play VHS? Can hardly watch these...what happened to the Corman copyright...are these movies public domain already? I don't expect much from the source these films were filmed-but come on! This is horrible!! Don't mind the full-frame (since these films were definately not shot widescreen) but this company should of held out until better masters were located. All in all it's good to finally have the two 'Teacher' movies here (so I gave this review of the quality of the DVDs 2 stars). Maybe some things ARE better off unseen (especially in this generation).Night Call NursesCandy Stripe NursesPrivate Duty Nursesare to be found instead on the Concord label. Do your eyes a favor.

Great set! Jan. 16 2011

Obviously we have some folks who expected pristine prints of these boobie infested low-b's. To say the picture is horrible is very inaccurate. The pictures are fine. They aren't re-mastered and they have a tiny logo on the right hand bottom that you hardly notice, however everything else is good. You get 7 movies for a very reasonable price and all of them are easy to view. It wasn't long ago that most movies were shown on late night t.v. in this shape or worse. Lighten up!

Bootleg beware! Seek out the earlier releases of these films. June 26 2010

They didn't even bother pirating the GOOD versions. Faded. Pixelated. Offensive to any buyer. Don't give this lame excuse for a company any more money. You will just encourage more.
Great Set of Corman Drive-in Flicks July 15 2010

I like this set a lot, I've uploaded some stills because there seems to be much debate about the picture quality, for a value bundled set of 60's and 70's exploitation I'm very satisfied with the quality.
