If you love tori, you'll say yes. But the truth is, if you already have a lot of other singles, I just don't think this is a necessary one to own. I enjoyed Daisy Dead Petals, but you can get Corflake Girl on Under the Pink and a live version of Honey (which I prefer) on the Hey Jupiter cd. I just don't think Sister Janet is worth all of the fuss. If you love tori you'll get this regardless of what I say, I just thought I'd forewarn you of having some repeat songs in your collection.

Years ago when this single came out I took it with me to the beach and it saved my life. I was stuck in a nasty motor home infested with cockroaches and no form of entertainment but my cd-player. Thank God for Tori. Each night I listened to this single over and over again and 8 years later I still am in love with this single. Honey is my favorite. Mellow and somewhat dark, but so good. Daisy Dead Petals is good too, but the bridge part of this track gives me goosebumbs to this day. Sister Janet is simple yet otherworldly and magical. Of course the cornflake girl edit is cool to listen to after hearing the album version. Excellent disk!

Cornflake Girl was the first song I ever heard by Tori, almost 10 years ago. It still is my favorite Tori song, too bad though the single includes the edited version. The b-sides make up for this, as Sister Janet and Daisy Dead Petals are fine tracks, but Honey (also available on the UK version of Pretty Good Year) is one of the best Tori has ever written & performed. Fans: buy this!

You'll buy this maxi-single because you adore Tori and couldn't possibly dream of not having ALL her songs, including those quirky little B-sides she includes on many of her singles. Right? What you may not be prepared for is the song 'Honey.' It's a B-side, but most definitely far superior to most of her A-sides. Why is it missing from the LP then? Well, Tori had every intention of including it on the 'Under the Pink' LP, but complications caused it to be dropped during mastering. 'Cornflake Girl' is a wonderful single and the other B-sides are nice additions to a Tori collection, but 'Honey' is what makes this extended play single a 'must own.'

This is one of Tori's finest examples of focusing her attention on non-album tracks just as hard as the album tracks. Unlike other reviewers, I think the b-sides are an excellent example of Under the Pink. They showcase the quirkiness of that album and the odd metaphors leading up to Boys for Pele. Oh yeah, there's an a-side too.

What can we all say? Tori is amazing! She is the best just by her emotion in her music alone. This is by FAR her best cd single yet (and I have quite a few). Now "Cornflake Girl" was not her BEST song on "Under the Pink" but "Sister Janet" and "Daisy Dead Petals" just make this single SOOOOOO worth owning. I am partial to "Sister Janet" because it was one of my wedding songs, it is beautifully composed. I am also partial to "Daisy Dead Petals" because it was the first b-side that I heard by Tori and it is a PERFECT example of Tori's love for the use of food metaphors. Only a TRUE lover of Tori's music can appreciate that song. If you have a connection with tori and her music then you will connect with this song. I just LOVE this Cd and HIGHLY recommend EVERY Tori lover own it!!

Tori Amos (a.k.a Myra Ellen Amos) truly broke new ground with this hit single, one her most commercially accessible singles to date. Its both haunting and melodious at the same time. This particular CD contains three unreleased-anywhere-else B-sides that are definite must-haves. If theres one reason why you buy this CD, its for the B-sides.
Note that the version of 'Cornflake Girl' here, is DIFFERENT from the album version. Its a trimmed down, slightly stripped version, but since its a great song anyway, it sounds wonderful no matter what! The B-sides are classic Tori piano pieces, and upon repeated listening you realize why they weren't put on the album. They fit in better on 'Little Earthquakes' rather than on 'Under the Pink'.
Theres a whole host of unheard Tori songs out there, and most of them can be found on GREAT Cds such as these. An essential recording, and highly recommended.

This is by far Tori's best single to date! The single version of "Cornflake Girl" is marvelous, and although it takes out some of my favourite parts from the album version, it is still great to listen to. However, these B-sides are simply three of Tori's best songs. I literally had this single on constant repeat for three days straight and never tired of listening, singing along, and trying to analyze all of the lyrics. I can't even muster up the words to describe the mastery of those three songs, so I won't even attempt. Words don't suffice, so listen to it yourself!
