Product Description

Product Description

Lost and Alone, is about two sibling cougar cubs who live alone after losing their mother. The cubs are at odds one day, as siblings will be, and they decide to go their separate ways. The adventure becomes lonely and the cubs discover that the single most important thing is to find one another. Unusual circumstances come into play as the cubs are wonderfully reunited, never again to be separated.
The story deals with the everyday childhood issues of friend or sibling rivalry and spats and conflict resolution. It communicates to a child in a wonderful, nonsensical rhyme, and the eighteen watercolors are an exquisite representation of this timeless story.

I read this to my son and he said he liked the story. He said the pictures look like a little kid did them and they could have been much better if a grown up made them

HASH(0xa4e048d0) out of 5 stars Cute Self-Pubbed Picture Book Nov. 14 2011

A brother and sister cougar pair have a spat and go off on their own, enjoying their freedom at first, but then realizing they are better off with each other.

There are not very many self-published picture books out there, and even fewer at this price range. That alone makes this book worthwhile if you are looking for something to share with young children. The illustrations and rhyming story are cute, but they are not at the professional level. You get what you pay for, but this definitely provide's a buck's worth of entertainment.

This is a fun little tale about two cougars who realized the importance of companionship after deciding to separate. It was cute and I liked the play on words. I really just wanted it so my 4 year old son would have something to read on the Kindle if ever needed... And I believe he'll definitely enjoy it.
