I held off on buying this book until I could get a copy in my hands to compare to the previous Merry & Bright book released by Country Living. This book is essentially a rehash of the previous copy albeit with less ideas (125 vs. the previous copies 301). A lot of the same pictures and ideas presented in the previous copy are repeated in this much smaller sized book! Save your money and buy this version instead: Country Living Merry & Bright: 301 Festive Ideas for Celebrating Christmas

I thought the cover was cute and I love books for Christmas, but this volume was disappointing. First off, it's not full-size book, but about the size of a paperback. Everything is super dinky. Second of all, along with the dinkiness the page count was low. There were only a few recipes, and nothing I wanted to make. I flipped through it in seconds and decided it wasn't worth what I paid for it. Returned.

So disappointed. This is simply a different version of the previous Country Living Christmas book. Just smaller with a terrible ring binding system. Pages screech as you turn them. If you have the original Country Living Christmas book, don't buy this one.
