I was pleasantly surprised with this book. I was a little skeptical at first since it says "spiritual" and I wouldn't really define myself as religious but it turned out to work great. It seems to take some ideas from cognitive behaviour therapy which helps you to change your thinking around a topic. I've been reading this book along with a cognitive behavioural book for weightloss and have been seeing huge changes in my habits with food. I highly recommend this book.

I have not finish reading this book but I can truly say that it is amazing!!!
Its no miracle diet.... its no long hours of exercices. Its making peace with your weight, starting to love your body and finally making the right choices for you allowing you to live a healthy life!

This book is changing my life, I love the lessons and am working hard at learning them 1 by 1. She writes so elloquently from the heart, I have the cd collection and have a copy in the car, my kitchen radio and on my computer--always within earshot. I feel "reborn" at age 63 and amy so looking forward to being healthy, happy and wise, I am doing her suggested rituals and feel the wt of the world has been lifted.

I recommend this book/CD, esp. the CD because you can hear the inspiring voice of Marianne Williamson....urging you along to make these inspiring steps...I have created the guilty pleasure of leaving for work 30 mins early, parking with a pre-made coffee and 'HEALTHY' flax muffin, and listening to this wonderfully, fubulously uplifting program. I keep a notebook/pen beside me...I so recommend this for all that feel they have no hope....or think it is not worth trying any more... Maryanne Williamson can help....

I have listened to these CDs twice now. After listening to the first CD, I was already feeling very different about food. My appetite decreased like magic. This author really seems to know everything about over-eating and how to cope with it. I now feel so relaxed around food and I understand the addictiveness of sugar. It really has changed my behaviours and I intend to keep working on the journal and keep listening to the CDs. It's the perfect thing if you feel like a diet is too depriving. That's how I felt. I give this a 10 out of 10. Amazing.
