The best cook book ever! Sept. 8 1999
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
This book is the best gift of all. The poetry, combined with best tasting recipies are a treat. I cannot say enough about this book, it is one of a kind. A great gift to give a cook, or even someone who cannot cook. All someone has to do is follow the directions. But to get the most out of it is to read the cowboy poetry, then your heart will quide you to make the best out of your favorite dish.
Very cute, fun Sept. 30 2014

It was very cute and had a lot of really fun things in it. I gave it as a wedding present to a couple of Texans who live on a ranch, and they got a big kick out of it. And most of the recipes were things you would actually like to make.

I think of this as a perfect idea for a gift book, so I gave three stars only because when I ordered it, I'd hoped it would be a bit more like a slick gift book, larger, more substantial, like a coffee table book.
