Canadian Buyers Beware. Although it was listed on Amazon.ca, I had no idea it was an American Company, and thus duties. No where did it say that it was an American Company, or that duties will be charged. This was the whole point in shopping on Amazon.ca as I was trying to avoid that.

I find that sometimes the flash would not fire if behind a wall. Other than that, excellent!!!!

First off, must say that this is worth every penny. I was getting tired of using slave mode for firing my flash, first off you had to have a direct sight line with the pop up, and second the pop up flash fired as well. So I went ahead and jumped in on this 4 Channel FM radio trigger (Called Wireless trigger by the vendor). First off, it arrived in less than 48hrs which was seriously impressive for an amazon deal. It works just as advertised, channel selection is simple and easy to set up. I've only got one and a half problems. The first being the quality of build, but really you're spending a third of the price by comparison with similar products. Second problem extends off of the first, which is the quality of the build means that you have no way of changing the battery in the transmitter (the part that sits in the hotshoe of your camera). The instructions that came with it state that it only uses 0.01 mA and can last for over a year in stand-by. I'm assuming the distance that it will be effective at will diminish over time as well, but once again you're getting what you're paying for.

Overall, if you're looking to jump into wireless transmitters for your speedlight this is a great buy. Save your on average $60 to put towards something else that you can't cut costs on.

Post Script: I read in one post that somebody had to pay customs fee's. I am a Canadian consumer and had to pay no such fee.

Those trigger and 2 receivers worked very good together .
But like a warning before to decide to buy , i am lucky to have a lot flashes , so, one by one for testing and results are :
It works on Speedlight Metz 48 AF-1 , Metz 58 AF-2.
It does not works on Nikon Speedlight SB-900 , Vivitar series speedlight 1 DF-383-NIK . Nissin 360TW , some old model flashes too.
So , make sure your speedlight get along with this set because this set is cheap , if it does not works with your flash but you have to buy another flash , then the cost is up higher than planed , be carefully your budget.

Does what it do but plastic hotshoe broke off after the first fall, which is terrible. But for 29 dollars....just get another kit or upgrade to Pocket Wizards like I will do (sync cords are even better and cheaper!)

Trigger work in the range that I have to work with (max 15-20m) without any issues. I'd suggest buying another just in case 1 dies. Still haven't figured out how does the main trigger holds power (guessing it's one of those flat battery which are impossible to find)

Most importantly, remotes attached to the flash are 3A batteries which is very convenient (you can find them everywhere).

Works on my Nikon kit and my Fujifilm x100s (although fires not that well on latter).

After 5 months of usage, overall cheap build is what drove the 3 stars rating. Go ahead and buy it for first remote flash, it opens up your world!

Happy shooting,

Yvens B.

I received this in record time and I immediately tried it with a new flash I ordered, as well as my other flash I already had. I put everything where it had to go, the receivers under the flashes and the transmitter on my Canon T3i, and I used the kit for a friend's project. No misfire, no problem except the fact that we got a bit dumb at some point and forgot to turn a switch on, my only complaint would be that I can't change the batteries of the transmitter, which means that it could die on me without any warning, just like that, and I couldn't do anything about it. But it works very well so far and I would definitely buy these again if they die while I'm still on a tight budget! For the price, I really can't complain, when I compare these to very expensive choices when they do the exact same job.

Edit after 7 months of usage: The kit still works like a charm, and I've actually just noticed that there IS a little screw in the transmitter, probably to open it up to change the battery. It still doesn't change the fact that this type of battery isn't exactly common (I haven't opened it up, but it seems like a flat type) and will probably need some research to find one, but that's all good! A school colleague actually also made me notice that I could probably use these in the studio instead of having to drag around the PC cord. I'll need to try that out! In any case, the product still works perfectly even after 7 months of quite heavy usage (and some abuse, dropping them several times).
