If you have a v2.0 BD-Live capable player then this disk may not work unless you have your player both connected to the internet AND have either internal memory or external memory available.
I have a Sony BDP-S760 and this disk would crash with only a small window showing a tiny part of the screen. I had to plug a USB memory stick in to the back of the player, turn it off and then on then load the disc. It then loads an update from the internet and you have to agree to a license agreement from Lionsgate Films ... then the movie plays at last!
As for the movie? Way more far fetched than the first one, but of course full of action! If I had known how bad the DVD software had been written then I wouldn't have bothered with this one!

I have bought a Sony BDP-S360 back in 2009 and never had any problem playing any film that I bought... that is until Crank 2 came up.
Twice I have bought it and twice it didn't work, showing only a tiny fraction of the screen. The disc checked for updates, but since I'm connected in no way to the internet with this material, then probably it decided NOT to play the entire screen for whatever the reason. A very disappointing decision indeed.
Even after downloading the more recent update for the model, the tiny screen shows and the film can't be watched for a second.
After two unsuccessfull attempts at buying this disc, I give up and await until either Lionsgate issues another watchable copy or for me to get a replacement of some sort. Until then, unless you're sure you machine can play it, or have the means to do it, then I'm sure it's as wacky and fast paced as the first one... Dammit, I wanted to see David Carradine as a japanese warlord so bad!!!Legends of the Expendables: Crank / Crank 2: High Voltage (Jason Statham Double Feature) [Blu-ray]Crank 2: High Voltage / Crinqué 2: Sous haute tension (Bilingual) [Blu-ray]

If you like shoot em ups at a fast pace you will enjoy this movie. It is as good as the first one.
