I am on this diet for three weeks now and I am very pleased with the results! Although I was not overweight in the beginning, I was not able to loose weight for months by counting calories and working out excessively. This is why I turned to the "No crave diet". I noticed that my vegetarian diet mostly consists of carbs, little fat and about proteins I have never worried due to the commonly given advice that your protein intake is covered by a healthy diet.
Obviously, this was not the best for me.
Admittedly, days 7 - 10 were a catastrophe, since I got so extremely tired on the No crave diet, that I even thought of giving up. But I carried through and the symptoms vanished. Even my skin got better and I finally do loose weight. I particularly like the fact, that you only eat three meals, instead of 5 or 6 during the day. Thank you so much!
Yet, I am now struggling wether or not I should give up my vegetarian life style. Four stars only, because I had appreciated more recipes or a recommendation for a cookbook.

I am really excited about this book! I bumped into it on the shelf at Chapters Bookstore and could not resist purchasing it. As someone in the medical profession, it so nice to see a book that touches on how the hunger and satiety centers of our brains control our cravings. It outlines an alternative to the typical "grazing" idea of eating 5-6 times per day. It poses two phases...phase 1 is a strict plan for weightloss and phase 2 is the maintenance phase where foods elimated in phase1 are slowly reintroduced. It's written in a very straightforward, easy to understand and fun style. I think this is the ticket for ending my lifelong struggle with weightloss! I'll keep you posted!

I have just finished reading the "No Crave Diet" it was fantastic. I like many other people have struggled with weight issues over the years. At last a diet that really helps you to understand the biggest problem the CRAVINGS. Chapter by chapter it all becomes clear.

This new direction is a refreshing change and I now feel for the first time ever that I have a chance of reducing my weight and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I am starting today - not tomorrow, I will keep you posted.
