This is one of those frustrating recordings that has inconsistent audio quality. The first six songs are very well recorded. After that, there is a noticeable change in volume and audio quality and the quality slowly deteriorates. None of it is bad, it's just obvious this is culled from several different sources. The interview at the end has appeared on several recordings, so it's just padding to make this download longer. If you are a completist, you'll want this. If not, there are several Honeyboy Edwards downloads that are much better -- start with the Smithsonian recording from years ago, scratch sound and all, and go from there. But this is definitely not the place to begin collecting Honeyboy's musical legacy.
