About the Author
Yoshito Usui is the creator of Crayon Shinchan, one of the most beloved and popular characters ever created in Japan. He was born in 1958 in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. He died on September 12th, 2009, after being reported missing, at the bottom of Mount Arafune.

This manga is great. There are many different situations in this, which I like. There are even a few pages in color, which is uncommon for manga! It has fantastic characters (mostly Shin and Mitzi) but the humor you get from them is some of the best you'll get from any manga. My only complaint is that the books are short. I don't want them to end! If you've seen the show, you'll love this just as much.
This one has a lot of swimming in it. You can get lots of humor from that topic. Shin Chan delivers.

I love Shin chan, the anime. The manga is great. I read these over and over because the humor is so great and witty. It gets better the more you read it, and it's fantastic to start with. I highly recommend these books.
