Product Description

From Booklist

As the latest of Janzen's Crazy series opens, Kid Chronopolous leaves Colombia, worried that he's lost his artist love, Nicki McKinney, and pursued by a very angry drug lord named Juan Conseco. Luckily, Nicki is waiting for him in Panama, and, despite resolving otherwise, they immediately fall into bed together only to be rousted out and pursued by Conseco's thugs. Barely escaping on a plane to Kid's Special Defense Forces undercover black-ops home in Denver, they make it to Nicki's art-show opening. Kid is upset because Nicki now knows what he does, and she's upset because he won't talk about his feelings. The sex, meanwhile, continues unabated, as does the threat of Conseco's goons. Kid finally manages to propose, and all ends happily in a honeymoon yurt in the Rockies. Besides the satisfying conclusion to Kid and Nicki's story, which began several books ago, the high-action plot, the savage-but-tender hero, and the wonderfully sensuous sex scenes, Janzen's trademarks, make this as much fun as the prior Crazy titles. Book Description

Professional soldier Kid Chronopolous moves in stealth and shadow to take out the world’s deadliest threats. Now, after barely surviving a hair-raising mission in South America, the Special Defense Forces agent comes home to Panama City for some sorely needed R & R…and finds a bikini bottom that can belong to only one woman.

Nikki McKinney has never forgiven Kid for vanishing from her life after the mind-blowing passion they shared. Now he’s suddenly back on the planet, where she’s rising to the top of the local art scene. But her safe, sheltered world is about to be rocked to its core. Because there’s a bounty on Kid’s head–and his enemies don’t care if they take him dead or alive. With dangerous people gunning for him, Kid’s got Nikki running for cover…and right into his arms. Keeping her safe is his latest mission. Keeping their hands off each other is out of the question….

4.0 out of 5 stars A Fast-Paced Read!, Mar 21 2006
By
Kristi Ahlers (Illinois) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This review is from: Crazy Kisses (Mass Market Paperback)
Ms. Janzen's fourth addition to her "Crazy" series is another action-packed romp full of larger then life characters.

Peter 'Kid Chaos' Chronopolous lives life in the shadows. He's last assignment has taken him away from the only woman he will ever love. He has been away from Nikki McKinney for seven long months. In that time he has been to hell and back while trying to stay alive in the South American jungle. He has made some very dangerous enemies and they aren't going to let him walk away. No... Conseco is going to make sure that Kid pays with his life for all of the trouble he has cost Conseco. Will Kid be able to deal with his growing feelings for the stunning Nikki and will he be able to keep her safe from Conseco and the men set on killing him?

Nikki McKinney has not forgiven Kid for leaving her without a word and staying away for so long. He was her first and the feelings she has for him are not going away. Forced into action she flies for Panama City, Panama in order to say good-bye to the only man she will ever love. But she's only in his presence for a second before she's in his arms. Too bad reality and death enter the picture. Now, Nikki and Kid are both being hunted and they both need to come to terms with their feelings Will they ever have the happy ending Nikki so desperately wants with her Kid?

Ms. Janzen has penned another entertaining read featuring the men of Steel Street. As per usual she has added another interesting storyline revolving around Travis, Nikki's model. The previously existing relationship between Nikki and Kid adds wonderful tension to this steamy read...but if the reader is new to the series they will not be left confused as their history is well documented. Ms. Janzen knows how to weave a very entertaining story.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great, Wonderful, Exciting, Jun 27 2006
By C. Woolf - Published on Amazon.com

What do you call a book with a character named Kid Chaos?

GREAT! That's what you call it.

Peter "Kid Chaos" Chronopolous is delicious. This is Kid's book and I loved it. Kid is tall, dark and handsome. The strong and silent type. The perfect Alpha male and in my opinion the perfect hero.

CRAZY KISSES starts off in the Colombian jungle...grabs you...and never lets you go. I felt the sweat rolling off me just as it rolled off Kid. I felt his pain, physical, from a gunshot wound suffered in that same jungle. And emotional, remembering his brother and the love of his life Nicole Alana McKinney.

Nikki's an artist extraordinare with great legs and spiky purple hair. She took me by surprise because she isn't the normal heroine. She's not exceptionally strong, or resourceful or some of the other things I usually think of for a heroine. But she is perfect for Kid. She's beautiful, talented, paints naked angels and has gone to Panama to tell Kid goodbye and find out why he walked out of her life seven months ago. Ah, the best laid plans.

Suddenly, she's in his arms, making love and realizing that goodbye is out of the question. She loves this man. Then, all hell breaks loose. Killers are after Kid, there's a bounty on his head and we are off to the races.

I loved this book. The main characters are still with me and the secondary characters, especially Travis and Jane and an intriguing woman named Skeeter Bang are wonderful and deserve their own books. But wait, Skeeter has her own book, CRAZY LOVE, being released June 2006.

BRAVO! Tara Janzen delivers!

4.0 out of 5 stars Not Bad, Not Great, Feb 4 2008
By Samantha L. Sayre - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Crazy Kisses (Mass Market Paperback)
This book isn't bad but it's not great either. It's just a continuation of the series. There's no real fire or sparks in it like is in the others. I wish it would have gave a better update on the past characters also. I just felt this book wasn't realistic at all. I got tired of Nikki and Kid being in trouble with the drug cartel. Anyway, if you are reading the series then you need to read this book but I would make sure I got it from the library or a half off store.
