Wow, Wow, Wow!!!, April 11 2005
By A. Lloyd "arlalvey" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Crazy for You (Mass Market Paperback)
This was an awesome, sexy, funny love story. Actually, its really 3 love stories rolled into one. The story centers around a ghost from a 1925 murder mystery who cannot rest until the truth about what happened to her and her lover onboard a cruise ship are uncovered. The modern day owner, Sexton St Croix (who, unbelievably, is nick named Sex...yeah, I know) hires a gaggle of psychics, one of whom is Bree Emery, to rid the ship of the troublesome ghost. Sex is a very dedicated playboy, who finds that special something in Bree that's been missing all his life. Bree is a very gifted psychic who finds herself caught up in the old mystery that plagues the ship. The third couple is St Croix sister, Cecilia, and his best friend, Jax, who has the most AMAZING sexual encounters (trying to fight an attraction but only causing it to blaze out of control). Theirs is probably the sweetest and steamiest love story I've read. I found myself unable to put this book down. It has tons of humor, hot sex, and a wonderful happy ending for everyone. You wont regret getting this book!

Sensational ... Kate Angell Shines!, April 3 2005
By Sue-Ellen Welfonder - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Crazy for You (Mass Market Paperback)
Already known for her sizzling hot and highly original tales, Angell outdoes
herself with Crazy For You. Pulling in her readers from the very first line,
she weaves a web of brilliantly-spun magic that enchants and captivates. A
romantic adventure at sea, this is the story of Sexton St. Croix, a man who
has everything except the one woman who makes life meaningful and Bree
Emery, an endearing and uniquely talented heroine whose special gift lets
her unlock not only the mysteries of the past but also Sexton's well-guarded
heart. Sexy, hilarious, and deeply touching, in Crazy For You, Angell
skillfully tells not one but three beautiful romances, each one
intrinsically interwoven with the others to create an incredibly satisfying
reading experience. Filled with love, passion, dark secrets and the charm of
the paranormal, this winner is fast-paced and brims with walk-off-the-page
characters so real you'll feel you know them and so much lush and authentic
tropical atmosphere you'll be persuaded to call a travel agent and book a
cruise on Sexton's Majestic. You may also want to join me in encouraging the
author to start up a sideline designing men's boxer shorts, an endeavor that
would surely bring her a mint. But above all, it is Daisy, the 1920's
flapper, who will steal your heart and have you rooting for her - even long
after you've read the last line.
As someone who rarely has time to read for pleasure, I must say that Crazy
For You consumed me. Made me laugh out loud and cry. This is definitely one
to put at the top of your must-read list! Go Daisy!

Romance with a paranormal mystery twist, April 14 2006
By Book Collector - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Crazy for You (Mass Market Paperback)
Bree is a clairsentient, able to capture memories by toughing other people or objects. Sexton St Croix (nickname "Sex" for good reason...) is a luxory ocean liner owner desperate to get rid of the ghost, Daisy, who is haunting his ship. But the only way Daisy will leave is if Bree solves her murder. The mystery wasn't terribly difficult to figure out, but it was wonderful reading how Bree uses her visions of the past to come closer to both Sexton...and the murderer...... This was also a rather unusual romance in that there was an equally strong secondary story line occuring with Sexton's sister and her bodyguard. It was just as intertaining as the sparks flying between Bree and Sexton. I'll think you'll find this a fun read. I look forward to reading other books by this author.
