I am an adult, and I really enjoyed Mythical Horses, even if the video is fairly short. The video discusses the mythical aspects and origins of the horse, from the earliest horse, to Ferrari cars!The cinematography is simply beautiful, and I was glad that the video presenter did not sanitize some of the horse myths. Some of the early fairy tales were gruesome. In particular, I found the Kelpie horse to be beautiful, as well as the discussion of Poseidon being the 'mythic' creator of the horse in ancient Greek myths. I loved the discussion of the unicorn, and the properties of the horn. I felt this video is suited for mature children, teenagers and adults. It includes some scenes of violence. Sensitive individuals might have difficulty with depictions of violence and death. Overall, I found this video to be excellent! Highly recommend.

I bought this video for my 7 year old, who is fascinated with Pegasus, Unicorns etc. But this video had some creepy,scary moments in it, including the bloody death of a unicorn. Although it delves into the mythology, this video is best for older children or adults.

I loved this video! I got it for I love unicorns and pegasus. But it also discussed centaurs, kelpies, and the mythical orgins of horses. About how old cultures believed sea horses were baby horses, etc. Great story telling!
