Great Product - Great Service!, April 23 2010
I ordered the complete set of DVDs (seven series and three specials) for "All Creatures Great and Small". I was delighted with the high quality of the sound and picture because when I saw the programs on TV they were not very good. The series is delightful - good, clean entertainment. It seemed so real it was hard to believe the characters were actors (especially the Yorkshire farmers). The service from Amazon was excellent. It was easy to order and the response was immediate. No trouble with payment. I would recommend the product and the distributor - Amazon.ca. Lynn Hatfield All Creatures Great and Small: The Complete Series 7 Collection

A splendid lesson of life, Mar 14 2009
All Creatures great ans small is a beautiful lesson of life inserted in all DVD. If you love animals and like to share the old time life where the violence was out of life, and still have good values it is the collection to buy. Many nights of laugh and tears with these aventures. A most for me, I continue to learn my english with fun. I recommanded this collection for all family. Beautiful scenes of English country add to the pleasure to see these DVD. The qualite of the image is great. No regrets to bought it. I love this classic, Nov 21 2010
What else can be said! I loved this show (and the books it was based on) as a little kid and often watched the re-runs on TV. I was happy to get the whole collection and watch some of the episodes that I either have never seen or have forgotten the subtleties. The casting was great and the production great for the time. You can't help but feel you are watching the timeless Yorkshire dales of the 30's, but alas, it was filmed some 40 years later (so don't expect todays standards of filming). It has all the beautiful views of the landscape, the spectrum of characters, and the insight into early veterinary practice that I enjoyed the first time around.
