While the 13 episodes were good, if much more violent than the origial series in many respects (including the attitudes of the Agents in the Red Cell), they do leave many questions:
*Not to give away too much, but if female serial killers are so rare, then why are they so common? (Same goes for the theories with multiple personalities at their core.)
*Are we really supposed to take that mild, professional woman for Penelope Garcia? (And if we are, does she have set hours between the teams? If the Red Cell and the original group both call her around the same time, who gets priority over her genius?)
*What happened to that woman from the original? I thought she was the director of the FBI, not the old, balding guy.
*Is Cooper a Priest or something? He seems to be giving last rites a few times as well as giving the talk at a funeral. (Maybe he's just really religious? He's clearly very disturbed if his art is any indication.)
*Why didn't they use the quotations to lead and end the episodes?
On top of that, pricing this the same as Criminal Minds season 6, leaving the final episode as a cliffhanger and knowing that there will never be a conclusion to it since the show is cancelled ("To Be Continued" indeed...) leads me to know that, unless I find the set second hand somewhere (or it's listed at under $20 here) I will never actually own it. [The sad thing is that I was fully ready to pay that price, until I discovered the show was not continuing.]
If I do ever get my hands on a copy, I will edit my review here to include the bonus features as well. [And if the show somehow does get pulled into future seasons, then I will line up to buy them all.]
