About the Author
Nancy Tillman is the author and illustrator of the New York Times best-selling picture book On the Night You Were Born and its companion journal, The Wonder of You: A Book for Celebrating Baby's First Year. Her other books include Wherever You Are: My Love Will Find You, The Spirit of Christmas and Tumford the Terrible. A former advertising executive, Tillman now writes and illustrates full-time. She lives in Tualatin, Oregon.

This is hands down my favorite book to read to my little one at bedtime. The illustrations are stunning, and it is a beautiful story about how everyone is born with a special crown on their head. I hope as my little one grows older she'll love this book and remember that everyone has a crown, and "no one's is brighter, no one's is duller, it's only a crown of a different colour". Very good book to teach how we're all special in our own ways. It's a must buy baby gift for showers etc. Now that I see it's coming out in board book format though, I'd wait until the board book comes out.
