This video is great. I found it very easy to follow and it gets the heart rate going and works up a sweat. I have so much fun doing this video. Its a blast!!! You don't even realize that your working out and the time just flys by.

There are 3 sections to it. The first is latin/salsa type dancing the second is called party funk and has some hip hop type dancing and the third section is retro. Each section is about 10 minutes and goes through two different dance routines.

This video is about intermediate level. My mom tried to do it with me once and couldn't get passed the warm up. So if you are uncordinated this is not the video for you.

I agree she does go through some of the steps too quick for beginners and if you haven't had even a lil dance training then you might find it a bit tough to follow at first. I love to dance-rcise myself and I enjoyed getting my heart rate up but i think she could have explained how to do a few of the steps better...even with my dance training in the past (which I haven't done in years) I had a bit o trouble figuring a few of the moves and make it work on my own.

All in all I did have a fun time getting back into the groove, but I suggest going over this dvd at least 2 times then you will get the steps down right.

I also wanted to add that they used average people who weren't in tip top shape so you didn't feel like you had to have a dancer's physique to workout with her.

In the end this will continue to be part of my exerise routine and use it every other day as I did get a good workout from it. If you want to sweat & feel the burn...give this a shot!

*Another dance workout to try(perfect for beginners)is with Michelle Dozois' Dance Off the Inches..Fat Burning Jam! She explains the steps well and it's not so hard on the body!

Easy to follow with lots of variety Jan 25 2008

The dance steps in this video were easy to learn. The variety of different dances you do in the workout help the time to go by faster and make it feel like you haven't been working out at all. I enjoyed this work-out and still use it a year after I bought it.

confusing
i didn't really like this one. it makes you sweat but the steps are really confusing. the instructor doesn't really give you much direction. if you keep up at it. Read more

Nice workout
Great for a change! You work really hard and work up a good sweat. This video isn't really for beginners, I don't think because it would be hard to catch up at first. Read more

Good
This is a good workout if you really work hard. She does go through some of the steps too quick for beginners but it is a nice thing once you know what to do.

Nice addition to your fitness routine
A little hard to follow at first but once you go through it a few times it's a lot of fun. Time goes by fast and its a great workout.
