A necessity for an adventurous visitor to Cuba,

The situation is improving, but if you have ever ventured beyond the resorts in Cuba, you are aware of the lack of adequate direction signs even on major routes. This publication makes up for the deficiency and is a very useful acquisition, if you plan to travel unescorted through that beautiful island. Remember, the chance you will find an accurate map of this quality when you arrive there, is quite small.

The book is your basic road map. It includes some info on larger Cuban cities and a few helpful words and phrases. I don't believe it would be too helpful if navigating back roads, however.

After a couple of days with this map it began to tear down every fold. If you are going for a map of Cuba, purchase a road map. This is a generalized depiction of Cuba, but not very helpful if you're a map lover.
