Cuisinart SS-700C Single Serve Brewing System for Keurig K-cups

I purchased the Keurig Special edition brewer end of last year. I love the idea of the system and after investing a lot in various K cups was annoyed when the brewer stopped working after 2 months, i returned it for a replacement which worked for a grand total of a WEEK. Returned this second unit and decided to cut my losses and pay the difference and get this Cuisinart model. What a difference.....The special edition even when it was working was so temperamental, sometimes it would work right away, sometimes it would take for ages and nothing came out. The best times were when it would show "brewing" on the display, take in the water from the reservoir, make a lot of noise, and you still wound up with an empty cup. The Cuisinart has not failed me ONCE. It just works.....I love the hot water feature, the rinse feature is great after a hot chocolate has been made. It's quiet in use. The water reservoir is huge and is easily cleaned out when needed. It has a replaceable water filter which is also great.

If your in the market for a single serve coffee unit this is the one to get. Forget the Keurig branded models, there are a lot of negative reviews out there about their reliability. Pay the extra few bucks and enjoy your coffee when you want, not when your coffee maker decides to function

The cuisinart ss-700 single serve is quite the brewer.We love it. It's quick and all the options are wonderful.I personaly like the hot water option for oatmeal. My husband now has time to have two cups of coffee in the morning before work. And this single serve machine has the highest ratings from Consumer Reports Canada.

I have owned many single-serve machines, including an expensive espresso machine as well as the nescafe dolce gusto and a tassimo machine. I had tried someone else's keurig machine and thought that it was OK to use but what I really liked was the variety of k-cups available. When I decided to get my own K-cup machine I opted for this Cuisinart model instead of the standard/special edition/mini/etc/etc versions available from Keurig. I can honestly say I will never go back - I LOVE LOVE LOVE this machine!!! The first one I bought I took to my office (since I already had the other 3 machines at home barely being used and I thought my husband would have a fit if I brought home a 4th) and instantly everyone I worked with was hooked and bringing in their own K-cups. I recently left that job and the other people in the office stood in my way when I left, refusing to let me take the machine!! So when I got to my new job I bought the same one... and another one for home too. So I've purchased 3 of these already! Thankfully I was able to sell the other 3 machines on kijiji to make up for some of what I wasted on those "experiments" before I found this Cuisinart machine (and appease the hubby). It works fast, 100% of the time, no problems whatsoever with operation. I have the temperature settings just the way I like, and have it set to turn on before I get out of bed (and before I get to work for my machine there) to avoid the 2 minutes of initial warmup time. This is a great option in the menu, but there are also many more great, easy-to-program options. I could write about this machine all day (I love it that much), but seriously just buy it. You won't find a better machine anywhere, period.
