A nutritionist once told me there is 'DIE' in DIET - you don't want to do that. Dr. Béliveau works at Ste-Justine Hospital (for children)and he wrote a book about enjoying the best nature has to offer us. The book has beautiful photographs and easy to understand explanations of how each food featured works to protect our body. There is no gimmick, no expensive pill or product to buy. Every family can benefit from this book for the sheer pleasure of enjoying meals that keep us healthy. As pleasing to the eye as it is to the tummy!

All the recipes I tried in this book were excellent. These recipes were made by the best Chefs using the ingredients that are good to avoid cancer. I highly recommend it. Plus it's canadian. It also has an english version.

I use this book often but I end up having to adapt the recipes most of the time. The amount and type of oil used in almost all recipes make them totally unfriendly for people who are not fond of eating that much olive oil, or who are trying to not gain any weight. A good book, but I'd recommend trying the recipes and maybe adapting them to your liking on the second try (or on the first try if you know your way in a kitchen)...
