I've only used this so far for storing parsley, but boy does it work! I used to throw out so much wimpy parsley it easily covers the cost of this keeper. Well worth the cost.

I'd given the Large version of this to a couple different friends @ Xmas, they said they like it, use it a lot. I tried this Compact version, and in use of just Basil, it sucks. I wrote the company about a return & refund, but they said no. They did suggest using less herbs in the unit, which, duh, I tried all that. Save your money, or buy the Large model. In any event, do NOT throw away any packaging until you know if it works well. ONE YEAR LATER: AFTER MOVING THIS ALL OVER THE KITCHEN, I FINALLY GAVE IT TO GOODWILL. If you buy one, KEEP THE PACKAGING so you can return it. I wish I'd done so, but didn't, and wasted my money.
