Soon, however the gallant officer found himself quite besieged- by his own heart's confusion and a very unexpected love! I could not get passed the first chapter of this book. There wasn't much to hold my interested. Valerie King is a wonderful writer and most of her books are really interesting to read but somehow she messed up on this one.
