Curt Manufacturing 31010 Winch Mount Plate Feb. 2 2011

I was worry that I would need to drill holes for my winch. No. It fit right in. The fairlead fit perfectly. Good solid product. Very fast delivery. The shipping box came damaged, but the product was ok (what can be happend to a good piece of metal?). Very satisfied. Thanks

Heavy Duty Oct. 6 2011

This is one heavy duty setup. It will accomodate standard or short drum winches. It even has an angled skid plate on the bottom to keep you from digging the square tubing into the ground. The only improvement I would make is to do away with the one-size fits-all holes for the fairlead. There need to be four holes instead of two. The fairlead could potentially move if put in a tight enough side bind. I plan to weld up the excess. Everything else a perfect fit. I also like that you have three holes to choose from in the square tubing so you can mount close or further out. I'd buy another.

Best one on the market. Also half the price than buying it direct from Curt. Dec 1 2013

I've owned this for a year and a half. High quality and no issues. Curt makes great products. This item is $155.00 thru them. I put a small 3000lb and large 10,000 lb rated wench on it w no issues. Never measured it. Had no need too. You can put any size wench on it. The receiver part is for a class 2/3 hitch (2"). It's very heavy duty. I recommend buying it. Best one I have found on the market.

NOT MADE IN USA! Aug. 16 2013

Received mount today. First thing I noticed on the Curt Manufacturing Sticker was "Made In China". Ugg! Next I put it on the scale to weigh it... 17lbs. not 20! I feel that the description for this product is deceptive to say the least. Two places mentioning made in USA and an inflated weight to make you believe it is a heavier piece of steel then it really is.
I also purchased Curt's 31352 front receiver hitch which was made in USA.
As another person wrote the mount does fit loose in the receiver, like it was undersized or something. It may make aligning and sliding the heavy assembly into the receiver a bit easier though. I don't plan on leaving it on the truck, so the noise of it rattling is not an issue for me.

Worth the money Feb. 17 2012

This is a great product, heavy duty construction, and fits perfect. Can't wait to get winch hooked up and try this thing out.
