Harness' writing is delicate and seductive, effectively balancing chemistry and Joseph's life and love for Cybele. Cybele with Bluebonnets; A story you've never read by an author you've never heard of, yet it's on the top of my short list of books I've read that transcend their genre's to become literature.
I've been a reader of SF for over 40 years. I've read all the "name" authors,yet I've never read a story so well crafted. Mysterious, haunting and memorable, all adjectives that don't come close to describing the indescribable wonder that is Cybele. Read it and weep for all the stories you've read that don't even come close.
