I bought these headphones, because I need something that provided both sound and a Microphone to be able to converse on Skype. It was a good purchase and certainly the quality is very good and the headphones are very comfortable.
I would certainly buy them again, if I needed new headphones; which I hope will not be for a while! :)

This headset is maybe the worst headset I have ever purchased. I constantly have to wiggle the connection to get full volume (sometimes just get partial stereo or just one side of the headphones) and the sound doesn't see mto come through as well when I use Skype (a real disadvantage for my work). I do blame myself for not checking ore carefully for a volume control/mute button on the headset- really miss those options. Unfortunately, I will likely now have to go buy another headset to replace this one (next time, it will be in a electronics store- so I can actually, physically see if it meets my needs). What a waste of money!

I use this for skype and it works well! It starts to hurt my ears after about an hour and a half, but I guess who needs to talk that long anyway? Nice clear sound and everything though, so it's worth it for the money you're spending.

My son uses the headset at school with dragon. I didn't realize it has two plug ins-this is okay on the system he uses at school, but he can't use it with his ipad.
