Purs morceaux de délire selon certains, ses livres sont pourtant l’œuvre d’un logicien fanatique. L’humour est la conséquence imprévue de ses rigoureux travaux.Il partage son temps entre la France (trente-neuf années) et le Mali (cinq semaines). Hier encore, un de ses biographes est mort d’ennui.
