5.0 out of 5 stars A great military novel that takes you around the world, Nov 20 2011
By J. Flemming - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: DAWN OF CONFLICT (Mass Market Paperback)
I found this book in a small classroom library when I was in 8th grade. I was interested in all things military at the time so I chose that book to read. Once I started reading it I felt I could clearly picture all the things the author was trying to show me. The story hops around the world with each major character doing awesome things that kept me very interested. I ended up keeping the book and reading through the whole thing. Once I had read through it I quickly ordered the 2nd book to this one, Border Winds, and was again engulfed into the story. I couldn't put it down and read through it quickly. (Spoiler alert) It was amazing how the author brought all the characters together for major world events from all sorts of different paths.

An easy read but easier if you know a little about the military life. I highly suggest to those interested in or serving in the military. The author does a great job of putting you there with the different characters and into the events that are shaping the world. I have reread these books periodically over the years and still love and highly recommend them both.
