I went all over the place trying to find this CD. I had heard it was great music for this great show. I finally tracked one down and it was well worth it. Now they have them at Amazon so consider yourself lucky and get one. If you are a fan of the show you will love it, and if you just a fan of good music you will love it. You never get tired of it. When I first got it I played it all the time. Now, six months later I still play it every day. The piano is magical and there is nothing in it that you don't want to hear again and again. Fascinating.

Now when I watch the show and hear that music too it is even more fascinating.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Show, Excellent Music, Jan 2 2009
By Kareem Johnson "journalist" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Da Vinci's Inquest: the Sessions CD (Audio CD)
DaVinci's Incquest is one of those shows I bumped into late at night on St. Louis' CBS affiliate KMOV. It's a show in the same vein as NYPD Blue or Law & Order, but is better in that the characters are real, the stories don't wrap up neatly at the end of the episode "happily ever after."

The theme is a real hook, as it's a great Jazz tune that would definitely get requests on a Jazz/Easy listening station. The other tracks have a great mellow sound that is completely in keeping with the feel of the show.

I bought this as a gift for my wife & she said it was exactly what she expected. The music she had heard on TV was the closing theme song for Da Vinci's Inquest. And the rest of the music was along the same "taste" as that; which is what she wanted. There were many tracks of music that she liked & it had alot of variey on the CD.
