Review

'Clancy's got serious company.' New York Daily News 'When a former pilot turns his hand to writing thrillers you can take their authenticity for granted. His writing is exceptional and the dialogue, plots and characters are first-class...far too good to be missed.' Sunday Mirror 'Brown puts us into the cockpits of wonderful machines and gives us quite a ride. His flying sequences are terrific...authentic and gripping.' New York Times

Product Description

A volatile U.S. ally has fallen prey to the terrorist beast. India is the target of radical Islamic jihadists, and the world watches breathlessly as tensions escalate between the uneasy giant and its longtime nemesis Pakistan—with China waiting in the wings, eager to flex its military might. A nuclear showdown seems inevitable, unless the masterminds at Dreamland can get to the mysterious source of the terror and end it, swiftly and permanently. Every technological wonder the military possesses must be employed to avert an all-out Apocalypse—from an awesome new hybrid Navy destroyer to robot Flighthawks. But the fate of the region and the world will depend on the newest brainchild of the Dreamland team: an unproven instrument of ultimate power code-named End Game.

2.0 out of 5 stars Review-Dreamland (by Dan Brown) March 20 2011
By Kenneth
Format:Mass Market Paperback
The book is not a book that is recommended for even the most battle-hardened veterans. There is no substance in it, and while the summary looks awesome, the whole book is just a rubble of fighter plane actions and and there is no good underlying story line.

4.0 out of 5 stars Dale Brown's Dreamland End Game Feb. 8 2011
By D. Williams - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Mass Market Paperback
This is the first Dale Brown book I have read and it has made me want to read more. Based on this book he is a very interesting military writer and builds a good story that is not hard to follow. There is plenty of action and more than one storyline keeping you involved throughout the entire book. If you enjoy military fiction books I would recommend giving this author a shot I think you will be well pleased.

4.0 out of 5 stars Dale Brown July 11 2011
By Smilin Jack - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Mass Market Paperback|Verified Purchase
Dale Brown is to our Air forces what W.E.B. Griffin is to our Army & Marines and Tom Clancy our Navy.
His character development and attention to detail place you with the team and as the story develops, the outside world ceases to exist

5.0 out of 5 stars The BEST author out there for these types of stories April 11 2015
By PMaddx - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Mass Market Paperback|Verified Purchase
The BEST author out there for these types of stories. I was in USAF in the 70's and have worked on several Air Force and Navy planes as a civilian since getting out in 1981. I am familiar with some of the systems and weapons in the stories, Mr. Brown does a superb job at telling stories that are fast paced and hard to put down.

5.0 out of 5 stars An Excellent Dale Brown Adventure Oct. 13 2014
By Blue Lou - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
I am a big fan of the Dale Brown novels. Though using what seem to be futuristic weapons and weapon systems, he makes them seem to be eminently practical. This particular book is very suspenseful and kept me involved from beginning to end. Highly Recommended.

1.0 out of 5 stars I thought it was terrible. Nov. 25 2011
By Retired Engineer - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Mass Market Paperback
Yes, there was action but it was unbelievable action. Lots of threads were left open and I was even wishing the lead characters or good guys would die! Don't waste your money.
