5.0 out of 5 stars Writing Advice That Works, Sep 22 2008
By Bill Wilbur: Author of SARAGOSA "Bill Wilbur" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Damn the Rejections, Full Speed Ahead: The Bumpy Road to Getting Published (Hardcover)
Maralys Wills is a wealth of information when it comes to writing. No matter whether you are a newcomer to the rocky terrain of writing, or if you have written for years, Maralys offers guidance we all need to be aware of. I am living proof that her methods work. I was a student in her class and have enjoyed the thrill of publication. And I am not the only one. Maralys has several hash marks in her win column when it comes to her students. Several have acheived success and we all owe a great debt of gratitude to the woman who inspired us, guided us, and ultimately made us better writers.

5.0 out of 5 stars damn the rejections, full speed ahead, July 9 2011
By Patricia Walker - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Damn the Rejections, Full Speed Ahead: The Bumpy Road to Getting Published (Hardcover)
I have read "Damn the Rejections, Full Speed Ahead" at least a half-dozen times. Now, I always keep it close by when I am writing. It is filled with advice which helps me solve any problems I encounter. It is without doubt the best "how-to-write" book I have ever read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Like reading a great novel, April 20 2012

This review is from: Damn the Rejections, Full Speed Ahead: The Bumpy Road to Getting Published (Paperback)
I've read tons of self-help books, many in the area of writing. And none of them were as informative, inspirational, and plain old "good writing" as Damn the Rejections.
Finally, an author who isn't sugar-coating what it takes to get published. I'm ready to read more from this author. You will too.
