Dancing With Fire: Two Women Who Fall Out of the Ordinary

I had the privilege of reading Denene Derksen's novel about to be released June 26th.

From the moment I started reading, I was hooked and couldn't put it down. I am very picky about what I read and have to say I highly recommend Dancing With Fire: Two Women Who Fall Out of the Ordinary.

Denene expertly weaves the stories of two women in a gentle, flowing and magical journey of mystery and discovery. The two women grow in depth of character revealing intimate secrets along the way. The reader is taken on a gentle voyage of healing, not only of the women but also of the earth itself.

If you are looking for a story about humanity, mysteries of life, self-love, romance and magic, this is the book for you, Dancing With Fire: Two Women Who Fall Out of the Ordinary.

I'm not usually much of a fiction reader but this book caught me from the first page with the clever style of switching between the two main characters. Two seemingly unrelated women tell their stories of stepping out of the ordinary, one on retreat at a remote lighthouse and the other on a cruise ship, living up a wilder side of stepping out! You are kept in suspense to the end and the clever connection will keep you guessing all the way through the book. With reference to shamanism and a future world where we are in danger of the whales and dolphins becoming extinct, there is plenty happening that weaves through the story of the two women. Grab a bottle of wine, settle in and enjoy...I had to read it in one go!

Reading "Dancing with Fire-Two Women Who Fall Out of the Ordinary" became almost a tangible experience for me. Denene has tapped into something universal with her story , creating a spiritual journey available to all.
The authentic nature of her humour and the grounded and believable sexuality, created powerful and real characters that will open your heart with compassion and keep you wanting to read more.
I laughed and i cried. I remembered what was possible for myself and humanity.
Thank you Denene. Your book is brilliant and magical.
