2.0 out of 5 stars Not great March 12 2009
Format:DVD
I really enjoyed the guilty pleasure of seasons I & II. But the departure of one of the principals for other opportunities (which so far seems to be a gum commerical) left the writers in an awkward position. Felt as though they wrote out their frustrations in the form of whiny dialog. Excessive violence very out of place in something that is supposed to be fun.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great series Feb. 25 2013

This was a great compitation, however the addition of Reichen Lehmkuhl down graded my rating. He cannot act and should keep to just taking his shirt off and be eye candy in the back ground. The rest of the cast were good considering the script they had to work with.

4.0 out of 5 stars For fans of "previously, on Dante's Cove" Sept. 20 2009
Format:DVD
I accidentally started watching Dante's Cove with Season 2. To suggest that Season 3 is more than a campy Queer As Folk / 90210 / Buffy mashup misses the point entirely - this is a truly fun gay horror soap opera. The writers and actors don't take themselves too seriously, and so the audience can enjoy the show!

Oddly enough, and despite their best efforts to stay superficial, there is some character development. Toby devolves his "Mr Nice Guy" personality to be a typical (boring) dude (the reason we like him so much in Season 2 is tossed aside as easily as a long-sibling is added in Season 2). Kevin remains overly melodramatic and super handsome. Adam and Trevor are fun and funner. Until the final episode, Griffin is a complete waste of dialogue.

Due to a switch-up of actors, this season doesn't quite make it as far as it might have, but overall, it is definitely enjoyable. Watch it with friends!

5.0 out of 5 stars I love this series May 1 2009

Although it can be a little campy sometimes, I love this series regardless.
It has a wicked ending to a series that surprised me.
This is the final installment as far as I know, and I really enjoyed it.
