I accidentally started watching Dante's Cove with Season 2. To suggest that Season 3 is more than a campy Queer As Folk / 90210 / Buffy mashup misses the point entirely - this is a truly fun gay horror soap opera. The writers and actors don't take themselves too seriously, and so the audience can enjoy the show!
Oddly enough, and despite their best efforts to stay superficial, there is some character development. Toby devolves his "Mr Nice Guy" personality to be a typical (boring) dude (the reason we like him so much in Season 2 is tossed aside as easily as a long-sibling is added in Season 2). Kevin remains overly melodramatic and super handsome. Adam and Trevor are fun and funner. Until the final episode, Griffin is a complete waste of dialogue.
Due to a switch-up of actors, this season doesn't quite make it as far as it might have, but overall, it is definitely enjoyable. Watch it with friends!
