Not what I thought.......,

Although I did not know much about this series, I thought it sounded like the perfect cross between "Charmed" and "Queer as Folk" (two previous series I loved). However, Dante's Cove is basically a well filmed soft-core porn. The acting is marginal. The script reads as choppy and uncomfortable as most gay porn movies (or any porn movies for that matter). The cast is beautiful but I was hoping for a good drama.

Neat Idea with a script from a 12 year old girl,

Ya know I thought I would take a chance and pick this up. Someone else wrote that it was funny and if you like bad acting...bad script etc....Well I have to admit it was funny. It was like watching as if a 12 year old girls were writing it.... I just about fell off the couch when they started having an argument about ..."i saw him checking you out...no no...yes..no...yes....no..." God it was like watching teenagers.... That being said. I think I will pick up season 2....there was a hint of promise in this show...not sure why...perhaps the hotbodies...but really it did offer some hope. So like someone else said if you can get over the horible script...the god awful acting (seriously like 12 year old girls scrapping over the hottest boy at school) it might be worth it.

This is Good, but I don't think that they knew what or where they intended the story line to go, and with a spin off show (The Lair, that started mid season)that they finally let us all in on the plot(s).I think they whent in too many directions,speaking of maybe that is what season one needed Direction?
