About the Author
Halli Villegas has published two books of poetry, Red Promises (Poetry, Guernica Editions, 2001) and In the Silence Absence Makes (Poetry, Guernica Editions, 2004). Her chapbook, The Human Cannonball, appeared in fall 2005 with Believe Your Own Press. She contributed the piece, “Bond, Jane Bond” to the anthology Girls Who Bite Back, (Sumach Press, 2004) edited by Emily Pohl-Weary. She received 2006 OAC funding for a collection of stories that includes “Hair Wreath.” Myna Wallin is a poet, prose writer, and small press publisher. Myna’s writing has appeared in many literary journals and anthologies including Taddle Creek, NoD, Existere, and Kiss Machine. She also hosts the radio show “In Other Words” on CKLN 88.1 FM and co-publishes poetry chapbooks (with David Clink) for Believe Your Own Press. Her first book of poems, A Thousand Profane Pieces, was published with Tightrope Books in 2006.
Myna Wallin is a poet, prose writer, and small press publisher. Myna has been published in many literary journals and anthologies including: the Algonquin Square Table Anthology, Eye Weekly, Taddle Creek Magazine, Surface and Symbol, the Annex Echo, My Lump in the Bed; Love Poems for George W. Bush (edited by Stuart Ross), Moosecall #1: Mating in the Bleak City/Romance in the Urban Wilderness, and the recent issue of Kiss Machine, the disposable issue.
