Format:Mass Market Paperback
This is the first book that I have read by Tami Hoag. This is really a romance novel, disguised as a mystery. That said, it was an enjoyable book to read. Slow at times, but during these times, you get a good understanding of the main characters. The ending was predictable, but I would have been mad if it ended any other way.

Wow! This book really takes the reader into a world the author knows personally! I was hooked; couldn't put it down, regardless of wake-up call time. In my opinion, Ms Hoag is a master at suspense with a complicated, mature interpersonal relationship between the main characters. She also fleshes out the supporting cast members with an equally skillful touch.
Breaking from her usual narrative style, most of this book is given from the first person perspective of our flawed heroin; which proves very appealing and adds pathos to the drama. I loved it! This is Tami Hoag's best book yet!

In my opinion, this was not Hoag's best work. I found it predictable and the story line weak. I typically enjoy Hoag's work but this was not my favorite.
