I was completely excited to get my copy of Davis's Drug Guide in the mail today, complete with CD-ROM and PDA download. And that's where it ends. I pull out the CD-ROM, and discover it's not compatible with my MacBook Pro. That means no software or PDA download for me. Macs are becoming more popular than ever, and F.A. Davis needs to get with the program and make a CD-ROM compatible with Mac.

This a very detailed & informative drug guide. I purchased because of taking apharmacology class. On the CD the lookup for the drugs has an audio pronunication which is excellent. I carried this to clinicals during nursing school and it was a quick and easy to use reference book for drugs. It was recommended by my nursing instructors when I bought it, and I recommend it to other nursing students myself. However, I would get the most current one now - this one is from 2008 when I first started the nursing program, and by my second year, there were more new drugs out that weren't in my book.
