Okay, I have had no problems what so ever with anything I've purchased through Amazon up until now, so I am generally happy with shopping here. I have had nothing but a disappointing experience with this coffee maker right from the get go. I purchased this mainly for the auto settings option. It worked the first morning but since then I've waken up to coffee everywhere on the counter and floor. At first I thought I screwed up some how and left water in the carafe, but the next day after carefully setting it, the same thing happened. Also this machine is just not user friendly at all, the lid on the carafe is hard to line up and when you want to pour a cup, the arrow indicater is totally off, you pretty much have to take the lid off completely to pour a cup otherwise you'll be waiting 15 minutes for your cup to be full. The "cup heater" on the top is a farce, if a person really wanted to, you could put any cup on top of any coffee maker and get the same effect...totally bogus! So here I sit with a 100 dollar coffee maker that I have to babysit, I might as well of stayed with my trusty 20 dollar cheapo!!! Do not buy this!!

This coffee maker is great that it is all front loading, you don't have to move it. The coffee tastes great an hour later since it is in the carafe rather than sitting on a warming burner. It is a fabulous coffee maker.

I replaced our old basic coffee machine because after 10 years, the carafe began to leak when you pour. Unfortunately, the new one leaks more! Coffee brews slowly (I like stronger coffee so I use the aroma button) and it could be hotter but really no complaints with the coffee once you get some in your cup. I have tried aligning the arrows, opening the lid a little more, opening a little less. but the carafe just leaks when you pour into your coffee cup unless you completely remove the lid. Pass on this one unless you have alot of patience and don't mind wiping the counter after you pour.

I have had this Coffee maker for about a month now and really like the way it performs. The coffee brews slowly with the aroma button on and it comes out strong (be sure to set the timer about 20 mins before you get up and you will be fine.) It fits well under my counter and I do not have to slide it out to fill each time which is a nice feature. This would be a five star coffee maker if it did not take so long to fill your cup. With the arrows aligned on the carafe it just pours out slowly. If you try to rush it by tipping the carafe too much it dribbles all over the counter. The only thing you can do is to take the lid off and pour. The thermal carafe does keep the coffee hot 2-3 hours after brewing and warm most of the day. Overall I like this coffee maker and if it would only pour out faster it would be perfect.

Okay, so I'm basically pleased with this coffee maker. The point that keeps bugging me is the thermal carafe. It is thermal only by the strict definition. The carafe doesn't keep the coffee warm. It cools much quicker than any other carafe I've owned. I've been tempted to use the old carafe from a dead coffee maker. If you find this machine cheap, go ahead and get it. If I had known about the carafe, I would have passed.
