Dead Silence is the title of Billy Talent's fourth album. Produced by the band's guitarist Ian D'Sa at The Armoury Studios (Vancouver), Noble Street Studio's (Toronto) and at Billy Talent's Toronto headquarters, the album delivers all of the raw energy and powerful rock performances fans have always loved about the band. 'Viking Death March' was released to fans in late June as a thank you for their patience and it immediately became a Top 5 Rock radio hit. The first official single 'Surprise Surprise' goes to radio in late August. The track is a scathing call-out of fabricated mass-produced culture, propelled by classic Billy Talent riffs and delivered vocally by Ben Kowalewicz in one of his finest performances ever.
