Product Description

Product Description

Christopher Snow is different from all those who live in Moonlight Bay California, different from anyone you've ever met. For Christopher Snow was born with a rare genetic disorder he shares with only one thousand other Americans, a disorder that leaves him extremely vulnerable to the light; a light-sensitivity so severe that he cannot leave his house in daylight, cannot enter a normally-lit room, and cannot sit at a computer. His life is filled with the fascinating rituals of one who must embrace the darkness. Only at night is he truly free. And on one such night Chris witnesses a murder - a murder only he can solve. For Chris Snow and all the inhabitants of Moonlight Bay, terrible change is on its way; a change of potentially catastrophic proportions. But as one forced to live in the shadows, Chris Snow knows the night world better than the dark adversaries that stalk his quiet town. And along with his exceptional dog, Orson, and his friends, Snow will challenge those who try to take away the only home he knows. When you live in the darkness of Moonlight Bay as Christopher Snow does, and you are desperately trying to save the day, you learn to FEAR NOTHING!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best, Aug 19 2010
By Karen Curtis - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Dean Koontz' Christopher Snow: Fear Nothing (Paperback)
I consider this book one of the best of Koonz' books written, this and its sequel, Seize the Night! The previous reviewer said the book "sucked you in" and I agree. I've read both books at least a dozen times and still get that tingle that only Dean can draw out of you and make shivers run down your spine. You won't regret purchasing these books, I promise you!

5.0 out of 5 stars Hey Snowman, Feb 16 2010

Snowman. A play on words. A pet name given to Christopher Snow by girlfriend Sasha.

From the very beginning you're hooked, even though I'm not a Dean Koontz fan. I grabbed this audio book out of curiousity. The back described a world I might enjoy being sucked in to. And sucked in I was!

Christopher loses his Dad and finds himself wrapped up in a mystery that has long held the commnuity captive. Christopher never saw it before his Dad died. With Chris's condition, he rarely left the house in daylight. But I digress or ruin the story for you.

You'll fall in love with Chris, Sasha and Bobby, Chris' best friend from childhood who lives a beachbum life, buut has a funny wisdom to him as well.

I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves a good mystery with some sci fi mixed in. It's right up there with X-Files and Buffy.

Read on!
