About the Author
Karleen Bradford has written over twenty books to date, and has taught creative writing around the world. In preparation for the writing of this important book, she travelled the route of the Underground Railroad, and conducted extensive research at the Grey Roots Museum and Archives near Owen Sound, where many escaped slaves settled after making it over the border.
