Not Recommended March 11 2008

Format: Paperback
The book was full of typos and incorrect information. If you want to know about the behind the scenes stuff I suggest picking up volume 13 of the manga.

if you know what death note is about and a fan of the series THIS BOOK IS NOT FOR YOU . it just has a bunch of questions (as a fan of the series)that you already know. its a big waste of money but if you see it at a yard sale for like 25 cents pick it up

Anyone wonder something? Dec 26 2008

Ever just want to buy a bunch of Light Novels, and get a different take on the story? Read the back of a book and see how it differs? That sound like you? Then NEVER TOUCH THIS BOOK!
I can tell you right now how the information isn't true: On the back cover, where they spoil the story, very bottom, they spelled Inuyasha wrong -.-". They totaly changed the name of the series! That just tells you the information is WRONG.
If that didn't catch your eye.... Then you might acutally believe this story and it's HORRIBLE ERRORS!

Why can't I rate less than 1 star? Nov. 4 2008
By Dino David - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
Do not get this if it's priced for more than a dollar. What kind of book gives away a whole series ON THE BACK COVER! It also doesn't gives thing word for word.
What the manga says is "L, do you know god of death love apples"
The fatally fun fact book says "L, do you know shinigami eat nothing but apples?"
Most of the "fun facts" can be easily figured out by a anyone who reads the graphic novel.
I highly recommend to get the "How to read" not the "Fatally Fun Facts"

Disgusted! July 31 2008
By ck - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
I have just started watching Death Note on the Cartoon Channel and was absolutely riveted by the story. I had seen three episodes and decided that I may want to purchase the graphic novels. I was pleased to discover the novels were word for word what were on the episodes, and felt that by purchasing them I would be able to read them over a few weeks enjoying the mystery. BUT THEN I picked up this book to put in my pile. I thought it was the latest episode, but when I turned it over to read the back cover, I not only realized it wasn't a new episode, but it actually spoiled the entire story for me by telling me what the big mystery of Kira was. WHO DOES THAT!? Apparently this author thinks it's "FUN" to spill the beans on the back cover, of a book. I get now that the title is Mystery and Secrets Revealed, but on the back cover? Really? I imagine that he also enjoyed telling everyone what the ending of the Sixth Sense was. I'll admit that I never read the book. Reading the back cover was enough. I'm still upset about not being able to discover the mystery on my own by having it outed to me in such an abrupt manner, but I'll continue watching the series on Cartoon Network, to enjoy the animation and the writing. I implore people who actually like to be surprised not to pick this up. I mean that literally. I give it one star, and that is only because there is nothing lower to give.
