2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing!, Jun 21 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Death is Sweet (Hardcover)
Since I very much enjoyed the earlier books in the Nick Trevellyan/Alison Hope series, I was anxious to get this last novel in the series, once I discovered it's existance. Since local library systems didn't have Death Is Sweet nor was it available at bookstores, I was happy to find a copy for sale on-line. I paid more than the thing sold for new, as it turns out (such is the nature of pigheadedness) but was, nonetheless, looking forward to a good read. It was not to be. Thin on plot, filled with very superficial characters, this is a poor finale to an otherwise excellent series.
