Product Description

Product Description

Set in an experimental community on Mars in the year 2039, The Robot Wars series features 14-year-old virtual reality specialist Tyce Sanders. Life on the red planet is not always easy, but it is definitely exciting. Tyce finds that the mysteries of the planet point to his greatest discovery-a new relationship with God. He talks about his growing faith and curiosity in a manner that kids can relate to as they are probably wondering some of the same things. Each book contains two exciting adventures. In the first adventure, the Mars project is in trouble and only Tyce holds the key. In the second adventure, Tyce has discovered there may be killer aliens on the loose. Robot Wars is a repackaged and updated version of Mars Diaries. There are now five books in the series; each book contains two stories. These new books contain a foreword about how far science has brought us.

5.0 out of 5 stars My Son Loves It, Feb 19 2010
By Scott Ross - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Death Trap (Paperback)
I bought this book for my 11 year old son. He is a voracious reader and a good judge of books. He loved this book. I bought him several "Book #1s" from different series at the same time to see which he would like best and want to pursue. Robot Wars was by far his favorite, and he's asking me to order the rest of the series immediately. He liked it so much that he read the entire book in less than 3 hours.

5.0 out of 5 stars WARNING...., Mar 25 2010
By M. Mcilvoy "book lover" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Death Trap (Paperback)
I did not read this series of books but my son did. He loved them, they are still one of his favorites. The reason I am writing this review as a warning is because this is simply a republished and retitled set of books that was previously published as "The Mars Diaries." My son has them under the original titles. I bought him book one in the Robot Wars series thinking it was a continuation since the inside cover says Tyce's saga continues but we found out when I got the book that was not the the case. The first two of the original titles are in the first of the revamped book.

It would have been nice to have the fact that this is the same series under a new title on the book. I was disappointed with Tyndale for doing that.

Other than that, the books themselves are very, very good according to my son who loves them. That was why he was so excited when he thought he would be able to get more stories about Tyce.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Read!, Aug 25 2009
By Julie Danielson - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Death Trap (Paperback)
I'm a forty-something Mom and really enjoyed this book! It probably is geared toward the tween/teen group, but I thought the story was engaging and excellent! I also liked how the author brought God into the story line in a very realistic way.

I like Science Fiction, but I honestly believe anyone would like this story. The twists and turns keep you reading (even when you should be sleeping!) and now I'm anxious to read the next book in the series.

I highly recommend this book for you or any young person in your life.
