This review is from: V4 Debussy/Ravel (Audio CD)
If only the French could play like this! Celibidache steps out of his awe inspiring Brucknerian habitat to conduct these wonderful ephemeral works. And the results are truly spellbinding.

As always, Celibidache weaves a splendid and translucent tapestry of sound with these works. You will have to re-think your idea of most of these familiar pieces. A definite must buy.
