What's Love Gotta Do With It?, Oct 13 2006
By J.C. Wallington "jnettefrommi" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: A Delight Before Christmas (Paperback)
Berlin Dupree has been able to check off eight items on her ten item life agenda. All that is left to do is marry a doctor and start a family. She has her eyes on Dr. Cameron Clark and when she finds out he is playing Santa Claus at the clinic's Christmas party, she sets her plan to snare the doctor in motion. Contractor Reginald (Reggie) Hodges has been hired to paint the medical clinic. He would like to get to know a certain administrator at the clinic, but she barely gives him the time of day. As a huge favor to his good friend, Dr. Clark, he fills in as Santa Claus at the clinic`s Christmas Party. When Berlin sees Santa standing under the mistletoe, she walks over and gives him a big, toe curling, spine tingling kiss. Reggie`s instincts take over and he walks her into a private place and the kiss goes beyond what Berlin could imagine. To her horror and Reggie's delight, she finds out she is kissing the wrong man and this is just the beginning of Angie Daniel's highly erotic and sexually explicit romance, A Delight Before Christmas.
Berlin cannot forget the feel of Reggie's lips on her lips, and his magical fingers that massaged her breast and other parts. However, she has an agenda and nothing will stop her from marrying a doctor. Reggie is determined to break her down, sneaking kisses and bringing her pleasure whenever the opportunity presents itself. When Berlin's parents announce their intentions to spend Christmas with her, Berlin is forced to hire Reggie to help her finish painting her home. Being in such close proximity the heat between Berlin and Reggie intensifies and they both find it hard to resist each other.
Angie Daniels writes a romance that includes the usual merry-go-round of resistance. However, this book was hot! hot! hot! The passion and sexual tension between the characters was very well depicted, as was the ambivalent feelings that came from Berlin. This is the first time I have read Angie Daniels or a book from Noire Passion, but it will not be the last.

Reginald "Reggie" Hodges is 35 years old and owns his own company unbeknownest to Berlin Dupree who is determined to follow her ten-step plan that would eventually lead to her marrying a wealthy man and settling down. While painting in the clinic where Berlin worked, Reginald was determined to make Berlin notice him but she has her eyes set on Reggie's doctor friend, Cameron. A daring move by Berlin at the office Christmas party sets things in motion that will heat up every encounter with Reggie past Christmas. Berlin tries all she can to resist, but the baggy jean, Timberland wearing Reggie has all the right moves.
Thank you, Ms Daniels, for such a delight before Christmas and creating Reginald Hodges; kudos to the publisher for the cover.

Ok so this was my delight after christmas lol! This book was hot hot hot hoooooooot! You'll need a fan, glass of water and your man near by! :)Reggie was no joke what so ever! Also I was cracking up in the book as well. The storyline of not judging a book by it's cover was very realistic and how women create lists of what they "think" want out of a man and life. Definite recommendation!
